It’s not always easy juggling everything at Christmas. With the extra strain of shopping and Christmas prepping I know that sometimes it can all be too much. Take all the help you can get this festive season with these three immensely powerful (and traditionally seasonal) essential oils.

TURMERIC (GOLD)

In biblical times, Turmeric was often referred to as ‘gold’ and many historians believe that the gold the wise men brought to baby Jesus was actually turmeric!  This key botanical has a long history in health practices that have inspired modern use for turmeric today.

Turmeric Uses

Turmeric essential oil has a warm and spicy aroma and is a staple for a great daily health routine. You can give yourself a boost by diffusing Turmeric throughout your home to provide yourself with an emotionally uplifting environment to improve your mood.  Turmeric oil may also help support a healthy nervous system, and cellular function.* When you feel like your nervous system needs calming, you can add Turmeric oil to coconut milk and honey for a delicious drink.

Turmeric oil is also wonderful for the skin. You can customise your moisturiser by adding a drop of Turmeric essential oil to support clean and healthy looking skin.

Tumeric is the oil of restoration and offers strength and hope to ground individuals during times of upheaval or significant change.

FRANKINCENSE

Frankincense Uses

Often called the “king of oils” Frankincense is a great “all rounder”. It is renowned as one of the most prized and precious essential oils due to its extraordinary health benefits.  This is my favourite oil of all time!

I use it every day to keep me calm, focused and happy.  It’s wonderful to diffuse to promote feelings of pece and overall wellness. It’s also great to rejuvenate your skin and help reduce the appearance of imperfections. A lovely way to use it is to dilute with fractionated coconut oil and rub Frankincence into your hands for a warm, soothing and uplifting effect. It has many powerful health benefits (visit www.aromaticscience.com for an extensive range of peer reviewed studies). A drop of Frankincense essential oil in a glass of water can give you the perfect boost to help you through the Christmas Season.

Frankincense is the oil of truth and it invites us to let go of false truths. It allows us to tap into our own inner guidance system to help us live a life of purpose.
